Questions

FAQ

Notes about SysDiag, older builds, privacy, diagnostics, and repair safety.

Does SysDiag upload my diagnostic data?

No. Core diagnostics stay local. Planned remote diagnostics are for PCs on the same local network and are not designed to upload scans automatically to a cloud service.

What is inside a support bundle?

A bundle can contain selected summaries, logs, hardware and Windows state, and optional crash dump summaries. Full memory dumps are not included by default, and privacy options should be checked before sharing.

How will remote diagnostics work?

Version 3 is planned to let SysDiag on one PC collect diagnostic information from another PC on the same local network. The exact connection and permission flow is still being designed.

Can I download SysDiag now?

Version 2.0.1 is available under Older builds as an unsupported public beta. There is no public Version 3 build or release date yet. Development updates are on the roadmap.

How do I remove a Version 2 copy?

Close SysDiag, then use the uninstall command included with the copy or delete its extracted folder. Keep any retained archive with its license and third-party notice files.

Can SysDiag replace Windows tools?

No. SysDiag brings Windows signals into one workspace, but the original Windows tools still matter for advanced troubleshooting and confirmation.

Is it safe to use?

Viewing diagnostics is low risk. Repair actions and system changes can affect Windows, so only use an action when it matches the symptom and you understand the expected result.

Are custom checks included by default?

No. They are optional user-added checks. Only add and run checks you trust because a custom check can execute commands.

Can I keep using Version 2?

Yes. It remains free to use under the terms supplied with the archive, but it is unsupported. Keep its license and third-party notices with the app and review the terms of use.

Who owns Lurionyx and SysDiag?

Original Lurionyx and SysDiag materials are proprietary. Third-party components remain owned by their respective owners and are identified in the license notices.

Is the Windows Setup tool available?

No. It is a future concept for reviewing and automating parts of Windows installation and first-time setup. No download, release date, or final scope has been announced. See its separate product page.

Are commissions open?

No. Lurionyx may accept commissioned software work later, but intake, pricing, availability, and terms have not been announced. Check the commission status page.
